Al-Rayyes said, “The person who filmed the film is in the Grand Café, so why didn’t he yell at them from his place, and why didn’t he call the police? Isn’t every Lebanese sentry, or did he just film and publish the video, which I don’t know what the purpose of this publication is?”
He continued, “It would have been better for him to contact the police and hand them over the film so that the security forces would take legal measures,” stressing that “if we had seen or known about this incident, we would have sent an employee and not contacted the police, because no one accepts these behaviors.”
Al-Rayyes pointed out that “the beach has several illegal lanes, including:
– The hills opposite the house of the Saudi ambassador
– The road that leads to the pumping station under the Grand Café
– Illegal stairs placed on playgrounds
The little boats that put the pioneers on the beach and come back later to take them.”
And he stressed, “We, as the administration of the free swimming pool for the public, do not accept or accept such immoral actions, and we suppress what is lower and less than them,” adding: “Twenty years we have preserved the reputation, ethics, safety, and comfort of the pioneers, and we will continue with our approach.” Contacting the police or us and not publishing the film and letting the perpetrators of the obscenity enjoy their immoral immorality without an accountant.
Al-Rayyes hoped from the security forces “to reach the film’s photographer and publisher to verify several issues regarding the film and its authenticity (the film may have been modified by professional film editing), and to ask him about the reason for his failure to contact the security forces and inform them of the incident at the moment.”
