Anderson Barros, football director at Palmeiras, confirmed the negotiation with Santos by Lucas Lima in an interview with Bandeirantes Radio.

“He is a dedicated and hardworking professional, who lost his space. We discussed an initial possibility with Santos, but there was no progress. We always discuss Lucas’ situation and he is aware of what the club thinks, since we it is transparent,” said Barros.
