A Bulgarian astronaut is able to step on the moon. The preview was made by NASA director Bill Nelson, who is visiting us and met with students at his alma mater and the president.
The new mission to the moon is the focus of the NASA director’s entire journey.
“I suggested to the president that we talk about sending a Bulgarian astronaut to the moon. Many countries have given this opportunity and I support that,” bTV told Bill Nelson.
NASA Director Bill Nelson is in our country after our country became part of the Artemis Strategic Partnership Agreement in space technology.
“Students have dozens of opportunities — to go into business, to explore a space,” Nelson said.
55 years after Apollo 11, NASA is preparing a team that is expected to set foot on the Earth’s satellite next September.
“Now we are going to the moon to learn to live in that environment. If we go to Mars now, for example, we can study for 8 months. If we are on the moon, we will be able to stay for at least two years. The border is far from the moon. Mars is the highest and farthest,” said the NASA director.
