Director Kamal talks about Pan Indian films and how Mammootty and Mohanlal have become Pan Indian stars from Malayalam as a star.
Kamal says that they did not become pan-Indian stars because they proved their mettle as actors. Also, Kamal opines that all the Pan Indian films that are released now are made with more emphasis on violence.

It doesn’t matter if everyone wants to become a pan Indian star without learning about the industry. Which Malayalam film that came under the Pan Indian label has achieved so much? Most of the Pan Indian movies come with more emphasis on violence.
