Famous director Kamal said that the actors who increase their remuneration when their films succeed should reduce their remuneration accordingly when their films fail. There needs to be a balance when it comes to getting paid. Kamal said that often the producers cannot afford the remuneration.
As far as the artist is concerned, he is the one who values his artistic expression. There is no need to interfere. Kamal also asked that when thinking practically, if one film runs, the remuneration of the stars should be increased, but if two or three films fail, the remuneration should not be reduced. But the truth is that they are not ready for it. But Kamal said that if the remuneration is reduced then we can agree with the stars, otherwise we cannot.
Kamal was responding to the producers’ union’s demand to reduce the remuneration of the actors.
