He referred to the funding of Arab art projects by Western institutions, saying: “This funding is always dependent, especially if the story deals with an issue, in which case there will be a kind of strict censorship . “
He explained that “there is a big market for Arab films in the world, but the problem lies in the distributors who are connected to the Zionist project,” indicating that social media platforms helped him and others to reach Arab works of art to audiences around the world.

It should be noted that Hani Abu Asaad is considered one of the most important Palestinian directors, and two films he directed succeeded in being nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. He also won many awards from various international film festivals for his films in which he dealt with the Palestinian issue.
