Director Ahmed Al-Badri Funeral: Heartfelt Tributes and Final Resting Place

The body of the late director Ahmed Al-Badri arrived recently at Al-Hosary Mosque, for funeral prayers to be performed over him and the body to be carried to its final resting place. Dr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Actors Syndicate, director Ashraf Fayek and artist Mahmoud Abdel Ghaffar, were keen to attend alongside family and friends.

The Syndicate of Acting Professions, headed by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, mourned director Ahmed Al-Badri with great sadness, and offered his sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, praying to the Almighty God to cover him with his vast mercy, and to inspire his family with patience and solace. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.

Dr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Acting Professions Syndicate, announced the death of director Ahmed El-Badry, inside the Nasser Institute, as a result of the health crisis he had been exposed to recently.

Director Ahmed El-Badry had his foot amputated, and director Ahmed El-Badry’s last work was the movie “The Bag,” starring Bayoumi Fouad, Sherif Desouky, and Sherine, written by Tamer Abdel Moneim, and directed by Ahmed El-Badry.

The film’s events revolve in a comedic context, around a bag that Bayoumi Fouad owns in Dubai, and he gets into many troubles and problems because of it. Festival singer Omar Kamal performs the film’s main song, which is written and composed by Ashraf Abdel Moneim.
