President-elect Trump, who pledged to carry out an operation to deport illegal immigrants on his first day in office, is said to have selected an ultra-hardliner as Secretary of Homeland Security.
Continuing from the diplomatic line, they continue to hire hardliners.
There are also observations that the frequent appointment of incumbent lawmakers could jeopardize the majority party in the House of Representatives.

As expected, the U.S. media reported that an ultra-hardliner was chosen to head the Department of Homeland Security, a key department.
The main character is South Dakota Governor Kristi Noam, who is expected to play a key role along with Tom Horman, who has already been designated as ‘border czar’, in the largest operation to deport illegal immigrants along with strong crackdowns on the southern border.
Governor Noam, who was once mentioned as a vice presidential candidate, is considered a loyalist who served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and became a female governor with Trump’s support.

“Trump represents peace through strength. He destroys our enemies quickly and without hesitation.”
President-elect Trump previously nominated Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, a top diplomat and security official, and also nominated Michael Waltz, a former member of the Army Special Operations Forces and Green Beret, as National Security Advisor.
Both have Florida connections and have appointed people who are considered hawks with a hard-line stance on diplomacy, especially China and North Korea, to the core of foreign affairs and security.
However, since they also value the ROK-US alliance, they are expected to simultaneously seek solidarity between Korea and the US while putting pressure on North Korea.

“Trump told the generals, ‘If you don’t give our troops what they need, you’re fired.’”
However, along with national security adviser nominee Michael Waltz, Elise Stefanik, who was previously nominated as ambassador to the United Nations, is also an active member of the House of Representatives, so if she actually takes office, a by-election is inevitable.
In the House of Representatives, where votes are being counted, the Republican Party is likely to win a narrow majority.
However, there are concerns within the Republican Party that if the selection of incumbent lawmakers continues, the majority position in the House of Representatives may be at risk.
