L.Zakarevičienė was born in 1956. Graduated from Vilnius University.

1990-1992 she worked as an assistant to the Speaker of the Supreme Council-Restorative Seimas Vytautas Landsbergis on domestic policy issues. 1992-1996 was an assistant to a member of the Seimas; became the spokesperson of the Speaker of the Seimas.

2000 transferred to the diplomatic service. He worked at the NATO Integration Division of the Security Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Lithuanian Permanent Representation to NATO, and at the Lithuanian Embassy in Moldova.

2009-2010 was an adviser to the Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius on foreign policy issues.

2010-2014 served as Ambassador to Poland in 2014-2018. served as Lithuanian Ambassador to Austria.

L. Zakarevičienė’s urn will be buried on Thursday.
