Diplo says he is not guilty of sexually transgressive behavior. The American DJ and producer leaves through his lawyer American media know that the allegations are incorrect and that he has not threatened with revenge porn to get the charges off the table.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that a woman had demanded a restraining order against Diplo. According to her lawyer, she did this because the DJ had threatened to release revenge porn if she shared her accusations.
It would be a photo that only the woman and Diplo have in their possession. An unknown Twitter user has, according to Rolling Stone a nude photo of the woman shared on the social medium.
Diplo has denied all charges, saying he and his family have been harassed by the woman for a year, his lawyer said. “My client has not broken the law in any way,” said Bryan Freedman. “He has repeatedly made it clear that he does not want anything to do with this person and wants this harassment against his family to end.”
She does not tell what exactly happened between her and Diplo, according to the woman. She does talk about “disgusting things” on Twitter. She does not intend to share her story publicly yet, but after the threats she felt compelled to demand a restraining order.
The judge will rule on the case on December 8.
