In the best and most goal-rich match of the round so far, Diósgyőr, who defended resolutely and mainly played on the counter, took the three points from Paks.
Diósgyőr won by one goal in the home of Paks in the first Sunday match of the 12th round of the football OTP Bank League. This was the home team’s first defeat in the Jelenleu championship at home. And DVTK won the championship again in Paks after five years.

In the first few minutes, Paks was more active, but the Giósgyőrs gained the upper hand from the first counterattack. A good quarter of an hour later, the home team managed to equalize this, as they were more dangerous in the continuation, but another quarter of an hour later, DVTK still went ahead by two.
At the beginning of the first half, the home team managed to improve, but they could still go to the break with a one-goal deficit.
In the second half, Paks attacked with great strength, but the goal was not really dangerous. Twenty minutes before the end, a goal against Díosgyőr ended with a goal, but the home team did not give up and managed to make it even better five minutes before the end of regular time.
The last minutes were filled with Paks attacks and Diósgyőr fouls and time delays, but overall this was the most rewarding, as they were able to leave with three points.
