“Diona’s Debut Album: Featuring the New Hits ‘Marionette’, ‘Bez Oxygen’, and ‘Akmeni'”

The album includes the well-known songs “Sīknauda”, “Pulksten 12”, “Nesaki Nē” (also its Lithuanian version “Nesakyk Ne”), as well as three new singles – “Marionette”, “Bez oxygen” and “Akmeni”. The author of all the songs, both the words and the music, is Dion herself, and they were created over time as stories from the acquired experience, feelings and emotions, from which it would be possible to build a part of the biography of the musician.

The work on the creation of the album took place throughout the year, in cooperation with the production team “Varslaff ‘n’ Edwolf” or Armandas Varslavans and Edgars Vilcanas. “This is a very big step in my music career, which I am very excited about. I am very pleased with what I have done and proud that despite the fact that I am still very young and started working on the album after graduating from high school, I have been able to make the album on my own, because at a time when finances seemed inexorable and many things will not be possible for me, everything started to happen and succeed. It also made me think more about the fact that even in this situation, I had become a kind of puppet in planning what and how to do to fulfill my dream of a debut album, but as soon as I got rid of those puppet bonds, I realized that everything is possible,” reveals Diona.
