Ghost of Tsushima developer Jean Nguyen has worked on a game that feels like it’s straight out of your childhood imagination. Dino-Sword is in its early stages, but Nguyen has already shown impressive things.
With everything from environments, models and a full Spinosaurus attack animation, this feels like a project that already has a lot going for it. Basically, it’s like a world full of reptilian Sifs from Dark Souls, as it seems like every single dino, regardless of size, has a sword that makes you wonder how these creatures can keep it in their mouths.
It must be a bit of a mouth workout, to say the least. Of course, there’s no release date for Dino Sword yet, as it’s just a personal project from Nguyen, but as we’re seeing the progress, it’s looking incredibly fun and very solid from an action perspective, with clean animations. It has also received some attention from other companies, including Devolver Digital.
