In the spirit of the Christmas weekend, in the program “Dinner with your family” three creative people are visiting – an event producer Gundega Skudriņaactor and event host Martin Pochand radio voice Sanda Dejus. During the dinner, the celebrities will be invited to reminisce about the different traditions that their families observe at Christmas.
Sanda will discover that this holiday is celebrated at her husband’s parents’ house, and an essential part of Christmas is bringing boiled peas to the table. Sanda won’t hide it – she was afraid of Christmas Eve as a child:
I was extremely frightened as a girl because I had been told that on Christmas Eve the horses in the stable talk and whoever goes to listen must die that year.
“I was terrified – grandma and grandpa had cattle that they had to take care of at Christmas too. I thought to myself: ‘God forbid those cows will start talking and that grandpa and grandma wouldn’t hear!'”
