Fernando Diniz has everything to renew his contract for another two years Fluminense. The newspaper Extra reports it that the coach has already signaled positively to the president Mario Bittencourt for the stay. However, he awaits the outcome of the elections to sign the new commitment. The manager’s contract expires at the end of the year.
The definition of the club president for the next three years will take place on 26 November. The current president, Mário Bittencourt, has so far been the only one to register a ticket. If the representative is re-elected, the coach is unlikely to leave Tricolore.
Again according to Extra, the scenario changes a bit if one of the opposition candidates is elected. The coach has not spoken publicly on the matter, but there is unease over Celso Barros’ support of Mário Bittencourt’s opponents.
