The singer “Pāries” unites singers who seem to have little in common stylistically – Latvian new pop music star Patrisha, Raimonds Pauls’ protected Dināra Rudāne and Latgalian rapper Ūga.
The author of the music and lyrics of the song “Pāries” is Dināra Rudāne, who is also the author of the idea of this project – she played with Patrish in the group “Rock 5”. Also stylistically, this song is like an alloy of Dinara and Patrisha with the contribution of Ūga (Daiga Barkāne) as a “berry on a cake”. Dinar herself says that the song was made in the first wave of the pandemic: “I was in ignorance, those around me were in ignorance. The whole world was in ignorance. At a time when I no longer had the strength to plan, survive and say goodbye, a melody with the word “pass” appeared in my head: “Anything that hurts will eventually subside. Something remains in the past like a nightmare, something even funny. Everything passes, leaving behind only a fog of memory. ” I wanted to hear Patrish in this song, she was also part of my inspiration for this song – without her it would not be complete. We had figured out that Uga should also be in the song – we communicated and wrote in a week! There have never been times when listening to the rap part of Ūga, I would not run ants! ”
Patrisha, on the other hand, is happy about the opportunity for such a spontaneous collaboration: “Thank you Dinara for the song and the invitation to be a part of it! I think for musicians this period is like a time to get together. Collaborations are always a joy, because they enter a new, unknown, unusual atmosphere that complements every musician. “Pāries” is an appropriate song for this time, when everyone has definitely accumulated this one who needs to be given time to calm down. As they say – until the wedding will heal and the bad will always pass! ” In the song, Repere Ūga highlights the power of women: “Strong women are everywhere! No matter how much we are hurt, we find strength only in ourselves, moreover – only from experiences! It hurts everyone and maybe at times it is even necessary, because when we are all right, we do not know how to underestimate what we have. ” It should be noted that the producer of the song is Gints Stankevičs (“Factory Sounds studio”).
