Dinar Candy Regrets Action in Bikini Leads to Suspect

Lawyer reveals regret Dinar Candy after the PPKM protest by wearing a bikini on the street. Dinar Candy admitted that his act of wearing a bikini was a form of expressing his appreciation.

“What is clear is that Dinar now regrets doing something like that,” said Dinar Candy’s lawyer, Acong Latief, to reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (5/8/2021).

According to Acong, the act of wearing a bikini Dinar Candy is a form of conveying aspirations related to the extended PPKM level 4 policy.

“What is clear is this, anyone if our stomach is hungry will do anything to be full. I think that’s what he feels and not only Dinar Candy, there is also news today that someone attempted suicide because of PPKM, meaning this is an impact or aspiration What he will convey is that he is so stressed that he feels this PPKM,” he explained.

Acong Latief assessed that what his client did was a form of criticism to the government.

“What is clear is that Dinar did this as a form of aspiration to reject the extension of the PPKM. What he did was intended as a form of criticism,” he said.

Said Acong, there is no other motive Dinar Candy bikini action on the side of the road, only to convey aspirations. As for the way Dinar Candy conveys his aspirations by wearing a bikini, according to Acong, it goes back to each person’s style.

“That, of course, is what Dinar Candy did in the form of protest, as a form of aspiration. What he conveyed was of course in his style, if students wear all kinds of suits and he is a DJ, of course with his pattern and his style,” he said.

Dinar Candy Suspect

Dinar Candy was named a suspect after wearing a bikini on the street as a protest against PPKM. Dinar Candy was not detained, but was required to report.

“It is definitely obligatory to report,” said South Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Azis Andriansyah at a press conference at the South Jakarta Police Headquarters, today.

Dinar Candy became a suspect in the alleged crime of pornography. He was charged with Article 36 of Law 44/2008 on pornography, with a threat of 10 years in prison or a fine of IDR 5 billion.

“No arrests have been made, but a suspect has been identified,” he said.

The police reveal evidence and witness statements so that Dinar Candy named a suspect in a pornography case. Dinar Candy was not arrested by the police.
