“There are such people” is a major electoral donor of “We continue the change”. About 1/3 of the voters of the new party are disappointed supporters of ITN, and about 1/4 of the support comes from “Democratic Bulgaria”, said the director of the research center “Trend” Dimitar Ganev to BNR.
Data from Trend’s latest research shows that ITNs are “massively responsible” for not forming a cabinet, leading to erosion in their support.
The 46th National Assembly did not understand each other because ITN’s political experience was not enough to enter into any deeper negotiations. If there is an increase in confidence in “Change Continues” in the coming months, it would be more at the expense of ITN than of another party, “Ganev said.
Dimitar Ganev commented on Kiril Petkov’s statement that the PP will sign a document with “Democratic Bulgaria” and “Stand up BG! We are coming “, according to which after the elections they will become a coalition:
“Petkov is ready for an agreement of a desirable nature. He does not mean to sign a declaration for a joint appearance, as the DB wanted. He wants to show that he has a partnership with these two parties,” he said.
According to him, it is important who will be the main leaders of lists from the new party of former caretaker ministers Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev.
Ganev believes that the nomination of the chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation Lozan Panov and the rector of Sofia University Prof. Anastas Gerdjikov was the best possible move for the two formations nominated by them, respectively DB and GERB:
“Panov is a completely legitimate candidate in the democratic community and is accepted uncritically, which is not easy for this inhomogeneous community. For them, he has long been the only authentic and legitimate voice in the judiciary. GERB, in turn, sought a broad candidacy to manage to attract the periphery and break out of political isolation. “
According to him, there is a chance for Prof. Anastas Gerdjikov to defeat Rumen Radev in the presidential election:
“If anyone has a chance to defeat Radev, it is Gerdjikov, for the simple reason that the party that nominated his Initiative Committee is twice as big as the one that nominated Lozan Panov.”
He expects higher turnout on November 14 than in July, when we saw record low turnout in parliamentary elections.
