Dileesh Pothan says that it is the responsibility of the actors to participate in the promotional events of the film they are acting in. Such an agreement is often made in the films being produced. If not, it will be his last film with them. Dileesh Pothan’s reaction comes in the context of discussions about drunkenness and non-cooperation of actors in the film. Dileesh Pothan clarified the policy in an interview given to Movie World Media YouTube channel.
“As a producer, I make deals with the actors in all the films I have done. For the promotion of the film, the lead actors will be told in advance that they will be with us for at least two days. If the agreement is not fulfilled, it will be my last film with that actor,’ said Dileesh.
He said that he thinks about what others say and knows while casting and tries to avoid such uncooperative actors if there is any way. ‘People hear similar comments about many people. This will also be kept in mind while casting. Sometimes it’s because another actor can’t be considered for the role, try to avoid that headache if possible.
There are people who have mood swings. We know that some people come to act for ten days and may lose a day or two in a bad mood. It doesn’t matter if the actors don’t come fully satisfied,’ said Dileesh Pothan.
The actor is in the promotional events of Dileesh Pothan’s ‘O Baby’ in the lead role. After the hit film Rakshathikari Baiju, this film is written and directed by Ranjan Pramod. Dileesh is playing the lead role for the first time. Raghunath Paleri, Hania Naseefa, Shinu Shyamalan, Atulya Gopalakrishnan and Vishnu Agastya are the other main stars. Produced by Dileesh Pothan, Abhishek Sasidharan and Pramod Thevarpalli. Arun Chalil is handling the cinematography and the editor of the film is Samjith Mohammed. Lijin Bambino composes the background music for the film, with songs composed by Varun Krishna and Pranav Das, Sound Design: Shameer Ahmed.
