Two Beijing Express candidates, Fabrice and Briac, will pass through Dijon on June 3.
The two emblematic Beijing Express candidates, Fabrice and Briac, whom viewers were able to find on their screens on Tuesday evening in “Beijing Express: alternative route”, embarked on a Tour de France of 10,000 kilometers by bike for the benefit of the League Against Cancer. Since March 15 and until August 29, 2021, the pair travels the roads of France with a generous and ambitious goal: to raise 10,000 euros for the benefit of the League against cancer, to support its actions for sick people and research .
After a forced halt of 4 weeks due to the health measures taken by the Government to fight against Covid-19, the shock duo resumed, on May 3, their tour of France for the benefit of the League. In their journey, they will pass through Dijon on June 3, 2021.
For the occasion, Prof. Norbert Latruffe, second vice-president of the Côte-d’Or Committee of the League against cancer, and Mr. Gérard CICERI, treasurer, will welcome Briac and Fabrice alongside Mrs. Sladana ZIVKOVIC, deputy to the mayor, vice-president of Dijon Métropole, delegate for tourism and international relations and president of the Dijon Métropole Tourist Office.
The Côte-d’Or Committee of the League against Cancer would like to warmly thank the Dijon City Hall and the Dijon Métropole Tourist Office for their collaboration in organizing this event.
The “Fabriac Tour” against cancer
As during the Beijing Express adventure, the pair go looking for accommodation with locals every evening. Throughout their journey, they regularly organize events to support the League against cancer. Fabrice and Briac will cover a total of 10,000 km by bike from Lille with an arrival at Mont-Blanc, while ascending.
This trip through France is a way for the two former candidates to meet their audience throughout the country, but also to support a cause close to their hearts: the fight against cancer.
An online fundraiser to help them fundraise against cancer
For the occasion, Fabrice and Briac have opened an online kitty. Thanks to their donations, contributors will be entitled to several rewards: a thank you video, an evening with the two candidates …
The first 5,000 euros, already covered by grants from partner companies, are dedicated to logistics (travel, repairs, meals, etc.). Beyond that, all donations will be donated to the League and the participating departmental committees, regardless of the consideration chosen by the Internet user!
