Anti-GMO activists consider that “the French State and the chemist BASF are outlawed” and made it known this Friday, June 3 at an INRAE conference in Dijon.

In DIJON and LYON, the Voluntary Reapers of GMOs are asking the State to apply the law.
In DIJON, on the occasion of the INRAE symposium “Towards pesticide-free agriculture” on June 2 and 3, the Voluntary Reapers unfurled a banner in front of the Palais des Congrès: “GMO: Outlaw State”.
Near LYON, in front of the BASF factory in Genay (69), they held a press conference on June 1, with beekeepers’ unions, a doctor and other associations, denouncing the illegal manufacture of Régent, a banned pesticide containing fipronil, bee killer. Trial for 6 Voluntary Reapers in DIJON on December 14, 2022
If the state has been illegal for too many years, it is the Willing Reapers who continue to be put on trial. Six Côte-d’Oriens were thus summoned on December 14 at 8:30 a.m. to the Court, for a mowing of rapeseed in 2017 in Villy-le-Moutier (21). It is also abnormal that only these 6 citizens are judged, while a hundred launchers and whistleblowers have officially claimed this action, by handing over a list to the authorities. Come and support them in front of the Tribunal Bd Clémenceau!
The Voluntary Mowers and Mowers recall that France is still illegal, for non-compliance with the injunctions of the Council of State, following the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union in 2018.
These legal victories confirmed that, since 2001, new varieties resulting from mutagenesis applied to plant cells cultivated in vitro did indeed produce GMOs, and therefore had to be assessed, traced and labeled GMOs.
The French government had 6 to 9 months to apply these measures, but it has still not complied. The government must fulfill its obligations and its mission to protect the peasants, the population and the environment.
The Voluntary Mowers and Mowers support actions and elected officials aimed at prohibiting the dissemination of GMOs in fields and on plates.
