Press release from the action groups of La France insoumise of March 10, 2023:
Aurélie Found in Dijon, to win the battle for pensions!
On Saturday March 11, we will welcome and accompany our friend Aurélie Trouvou, LFI-NUPES deputy responsible for the Côte-d’Or, in Dijon:
* rebellious wandering in Dijon, from Place Darcy (around 11:45 a.m.),
* then public meeting at Café Hugo, Place de la Liberation, from 12.15 p.m. to 2 p.m.,
* then demonstration, from Place de la Liberation, behind the NUPES 21 banner.
Macron and Borne are trying to impose the greatest social regression of the last 30 years. They try to pretend that there is no choice. It’s wrong ! There is no problem with pension fund deficits, in the short, medium and even long terms. They pass in force, in Parliament, while 80% of the French and all the unions are against their plan to destroy pensions.
On March 7, more than 3.5 million citizens demonstrated in France to show their total rejection of the Macron-Borne project! In our department, more than 25,000 of us marched in the streets of Dijon, and thousands also in Beaune, Montbard, Saulieu… Everywhere, the strike launched by all the unions brought “France to a halt” . The next day, social and civic mobilization resumed with renewed vigor: renewable strike in many sectors, feminist strike on March 8, day of action and youth mobilization on March 9…
Meeting on the evening of Tuesday March 7, the inter-union decided that Saturday March 11 will be a new day of historic popular mobilization, surpassing the already considerable success of the demonstrations on Saturday February 11.
In Dijon, we will be at the rendezvous of this new day of action by welcoming, from the end of the morning, Aurélie Trouvou, deputy referent of our department, in order to cross the city of Dijon, to meet its citizens. , then to listen to her and exchange with her on “the battle for pensions” and, finally, to demonstrate in her company, behind the banner of NUPES 21.
We invite the citizens of Côte-d’Or in large numbers to join us, in particular to participate in the convivial public meeting (drinks and snacks offered), at the Café Hugo, place de la Liberation (from 12:15 p.m.).
Action groups LFI Dijon Nord, Dijon Sud, Saint-Apollinaire, Famille Triangle rouge, Quetigny Chevigny Genlis, Arnay-le-Duc, Colombière and Dijon Marché Central / Coordination LFI-NUPES 21.
