From 7 pm, Place François-Rude fills up with people and music, on the occasion of the launch of 36And edition of the Telethon. France Television cameras hit the places, filming the ongoing demonstrations live cheerleading. At the microphone, presenters Bruno Guillon and Sophie Jovillard set the mood. Everyone rushes to capture the moment, cell phone in hand.
Mobilized firefighters and postal workers
A few steps away from the rue de la liberté, the “Team la Poste” rises, causing a mustard-yellow wave of some 250 postal workers that extends to the place de la Liberation. Everyone has his own comment, enjoy the Christmas decorations lit moments before.
In the courtyard of the Town Hall, the firefighters organize sports workshops for children and are happy to participate in some photo shoots in front of historic trucks. The lighting of the facades of blackcurrant and mustard , the two colors of the Telethon 2022 capture the attention. From 7.30pm, the Philippe-le-Bon tower in sight unveils a Telethon banner reminding you of the number to dial to make a donation: 3637. Disappointed by the brevity of the moment, spectators return to the heart of the city where the atmosphere is nonetheless festive.
Objective: to exceed 190,000 euros in Dijon
During 30 hours of sporting challenges, many events will take place across the department with the aim of raising more funds than last year, over €190,000.
