“We need to come together, we don’t need sectarianism. We need to bring nuance and calm. With this association, I want us to continue to uphold these values. » explains the MP.
The meeting takes place on Saturday November 16 at 10 a.m., at Lambda (Dijon). Océane Godard, deputy for the first constituency of Côte-d’Or, is organizing a Constitutive General Assembly to inaugurate a new citizen association whose name will be revealed on this occasion. This initiative, in response to a commitment made during his legislative campaign, aims to create a gathering space where citizens can actively participate in public life, without partisan affiliation.
A project born from citizen mobilization
During her legislative campaign, Océane Godard was supported by many citizens not affiliated with a party, who participated in field actions, whether during markets, door-to-door or on social networks. This support inspired the idea of an association to channel this mobilization and extend citizen engagement outside of electoral periods.
The gathering and the nuance in a conductive line
“The DNA of this association in three words is: inspirations, gathering and nuances. » explains the MP.
This association, driven by the desire to bring together and promote nuance in public debate, aims to be an open space, where everyone can express themselves and contribute to a more united and just society. The MP wishes to create a place for dialogue, far from political divisions, where we can discuss values such as social justice, living together and respect.
Two centers of action: Field animation and Parliamentary monitoring
“This association aims to go into the field to sow ideas, to sow the desire to participate in public life and to bring to life the values of living together and social justice.” she continues.
The association will therefore be structured around two main poles:
1) The Field Animation Center: Dedicated to local actions, this center will organize citizen meetings in the markets, café debates in the villages or even discussions in the stations. This involves encouraging direct interactions, by making the values of solidarity and social justice accessible to as many people as possible.
2) The Parliamentary Monitoring Center: The second center will allow citizens to establish a link with the legislative work of Océane Godard at the Palais Bourbon. Members will be able to discuss issues such as employment, training or education, to better understand the legislative issues and contribute to collective reflections.
Accessibility and membership terms
The association is open to all, without geographical restrictions, for a symbolic contribution of €5. Everyone will be able to participate according to their availability, offering flexibility to get involved according to their personal commitments.
See you Saturday for the official launch
The launch of the association will be held on Saturday November 16 in Dijon, at Lambda, near Place de la République.
“We need to come together, we don’t need sectarianism. We need to bring nuance and calm. With this association, I want us to continue to uphold these values. » explains the MP.
Through this great initiative, Océane Godard hopes to create a place for citizen engagement and public debate accessible to those who wish to contribute to the common good outside of traditional partisan structures.
