A crazy weekend for the DMH.

This Saturday, June 3, 2023, after having narrowly missed the first directly qualifying place for the Starliguethe Dijonnais caught up in the most beautiful way by beating the Tremblay-en-France team (34-30) in a white-hot Sports Palace.

But Dijon did not stop there: the DMH doubled the bet less than 24 hours later. defeating Saran in the final (Loiret) on the same score.

Dijon made the difference at the end of the match

Less than 24 hours after gaining the upper hand respectively against Pontault-Combault and Tremblay-en-France, Saran and Dijon put the cover back with the title of ProLigue champion in their sights.

In a Dijon Sports Center full to bursting, the DMH knew, from the first period, to make the difference, partly thanks to too many offensive errors of the Saranese camp (11-18, 25th).

Led by seven lengths at the break (14-21), the Septors showed a better face when they returned from the locker room and, from the first moments of the second act, were able to reduce the mark (18-21, 33rd).

Carried by Jordi Deumal and Luka Radovic, Saran even reversed the trend at the start of the last quarter of an hour (26-25), but Dijon did not give up and managed to pull out of the game in the final minutes, partly thanks to numerous numerical superiorities.

The DMH wins +4, 34-30 and is crowned ProLeague champion. Note the excellent performance of Marc Poletti, author of 9 goals in as many attempts.

Saran and Dijon will evolve next season in Liqui Moly StarLigue.
