Dijon: Jean-Luc Roblin’s cellar | Gilles Pudlowski’s blog

We told you, four years ago, about this beautiful cellar in the heart of Dijon, very close to Les Halles and the Notre-Dame church, praising Adrien Tirelli’s choices. It is his partner Jean-Luc Roblin who welcomes us today, praising both the exquisite artisanal blackcurrant from Gilles Joannet and a quality Aligoté, lamenting, with the air of “Doctor Tant Pis” on the “stratospheric” price increase on the side of the great Burgundy coasts.

We look here and there for good deals to be made (“ there are not any“, whispers this smiling look-alike of François Berléand). But the big names are there (Méo-Camuzet, Pavelot, la Pousse d’Or or Sauzet), but not necessarily in the best-known appellations (auxey-duresses, saint-romain, fixin, pernand-vergelesses). But the house is rich in beautiful bottles from all the vineyards, Puech-Haut in Languedoc, Clos Uroulat from Charles Hours in Jurançon, Clos de l’Ours in Provence, Domaine Weinbach or Clos Saint-Imer from Burn in Alsace. Superb collection of whiskeys and rums to discover in this reference cellar.
