The last weekend of August marks the closure of Dijon Plage. It will be devoted to the environment: it is life-size Dijon beach!
Lake Kir is the emblematic place of relaxation and leisure for the inhabitants of Dijon as well as for the inhabitants of many municipalities of the Côte-d’Or and for tourists. Surrounded by 30 hectares of green spaces, the site invites you to relax, stroll or practice sports. In summer, since 2004, within the framework of Dijon beach, the edges of the lake are transformed into seaside resort to taste the pleasures of the bathe, alluring a large and family crowd.
To preserve this green setting, Dijon, an ecological reference in France, is organizing an event around the theme of the environment on August 28 and 29, 2021. Awareness of climate change, preservation of water resources, protection of biodiversity, outbreak of nature in the city, waste reduction… A fun and educational opportunity to familiarize yourself more with the environmental issues of our metropolis and to participate in the 4th edition of Citizen Cleaning where all goodwill is welcome to collectively protect this vast natural space.
