Why did you choose to embark on the CosmétiCar adventure? Can you tell us about your background?
“After spending 30 years serving vulnerable people in the home care sector, I needed a real new challenge.
CosmétiCar’s eco-responsible approach, in particular with the use of bio-degradable products and services while saving 250 liters of water per vehicle wash, added to this the desire to offer each customer a high-quality service. performance in line with each of their needs, convinced me to embark on this adventure.
The fact of providing this service on site or at home is also a notable asset for me because it is a special relationship with the customer that I appreciate very much.»
What is your connection with the automobile?
“This CosmétiCar adventure is a desire for retraining which joins a desire to take care of beautiful vehicles.
Since 2009, I was responsible for employees using multi-driver service vehicles, I was able to see the difficulties of managing the maintenance of these vehicles by their users (random cleanliness, maintenance not carried out or imperfectly…).
I think that CosmétiCar can respond to a certain number of these inconveniences by putting its expertise and its follow-up at the service of corporate vehicle fleets.”
What are your development prospects?
“First of all, I want to make the activity of the CosmétiCar Dijon – Grands Crus agency profitable, then to retain a public of individuals as well as automotive professionals. I come from a very agricultural and wine-growing region, so I want to offer them an eco-responsible machine cleaning offer.”
How do you think CosmétiCar is positive for your region?
“Currently, an eco-responsible mobile cleaning offer is non-existent in the Côte-d’Or territory. While our department is a real hub and is widely used in France.
Indeed, the Côte d’Or benefits from important road infrastructures since it is located on the axes connecting the North-East to the South-East of France, the Paris region to the Mediterranean, the Jura, Switzerland and the Alps. ..etc.
The Dijonnais is experiencing significant economic development, in particular thanks to the upcoming inauguration of its International City of Gastronomy and Wine which ultimately aims, with viticulture listed since 2015 as a UNESCO heritage site, to be one of the driving forces of the tourist economy of our department.
This development will necessarily have to be accompanied by a reasonable and controlled use of the territory’s natural resources, which “waterless” cleaning will allow while providing a top-of-the-range service to CosmétiCar customers.

The CosmétiCar network was born in Marseille in 2003. Self-taught, Florian Benoit imagined a waterless car wash method, combining ecology, practicality and performance.
