“Dijon awakens your health” to eat well and move well

This event is aimed at a wide audience: young people from elementary schools and college students of 6th, to people with disabilities, precariousness … and the population as a whole, especially families. The “Dijon wake up your health” operation is also part of the Dijon Métropole local health contract signed in 2016.

The action is being carried out this year in a rather special way. Sanitary context requires, instead of the traditional stands at Place de la République and the many activities, you can watch two 30-minute programs devoted to good nutritional practices on Facebook (on the Facebook page of the City of Dijon @VilledeDijon, hosted by the students Agrosup Dijon and UFR Staps Dijon-Le Creusot). “Eating well and being active are the two driving principles of good health. In addition, in this period of the Covid-19 crisis, it is very important to continue this mobilization and awareness-raising aimed at the Dijonnaise and the Dijonnais ” indicates Françoise Tenenbaum, municipal councilor responsible for health, hygiene and disability.

At 10:30 am:
– a series of reports: how to choose the right fat? | Fruits and vegetables | Legumes (lentils, chickpeas, split peas, etc.)
– several easy-to-design everyday recipes, concocted by a chef
– physical activities: simple exercises, suitable for the greatest number of people and easily performed at home to limit the effects of a sedentary lifestyle

At 12:30 pm, “The 12 blows of the National Health Nutrition Plan”: a nod to the program “The 12 blows of noon”, a question-and-answer game around the PNNS.
