The manga and Asian culture fair finds its faithful this weekend of May 21 and 22 at the Parc des expositions. Photos at the heart of the event.
Following two years greatly complicated by the health crisis, the Dijon association Kamo Event was able to regain some enthusiasm during the first Kamo Play show organized on December 4 and 5, 2021 with 4,000 visitors welcomed over the two days. But the main event carried by the association had been missing since 2019.
This weekend of May 21 and 22, 2022 marks the big return of the show to the world of manga and Asian culture. With also magic, martial arts, wrestling and boxing in particular, and even the highlighting of several solidarity associations from Dijon in a whole panel of exhibitors.
This 5th edition is more important than the previous ones according to Dimitri Lam, vice-president of the organizing association. 80 stands, including 50 for designers, are spread over a space of 5,000 m2.
More than 70 volunteers are mobilized over the weekend.
The first day of this Saturday confirmed that the convention was expected. Kamo Event has recorded more than 2,500 presales and hopes to total 8,000 visitors.
Enthusiasts and cosplayers, cosplayers faithful to the universes in force were numerous to take advantage of the show, open again this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Practical information can be found on the Kamo Con website by clicking here.
