This Tuesday, November 5, a hunting operation is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. to regulate the wild boar population In Serpent Combelocated in the upper part of Dijon in Côte-d’Or.
To ensure the safety of local residents and walkers, municipal decrees in the towns of Dijon, Corcelles-les-Monts and Plombières-lès-Dijon have put in place traffic restrictions. A safety device comprising seven checkpoints will be deployed for prohibit travel of the pedestriansof the cyclists and cavaliers in the hunting area. In addition, a speed limit of 50 km/h will be applied between the Dijon exit and the roundabout at the entrance to Corcelles-les-Monts.

Three other actions to follow
This hunting operation marks the first intervention of the season 2024-2025. It is part of a series of four actions similar planned for Tuesday morning until March 31, 2025except during school holidays. Several rural paths, notably the Chemin des Foiriens, the Grand Chemin de Chaudois, and the Chemin de la Combe Morgemain, will be strictly prohibited to the public during hunting periods.
Only participants in the hunting operation will be authorized to circulate in these temporarily closed areas.
