In fact, this envelope allows the recruitment of a “bike and active mobility” project manager. From July, he will be in charge of developing the new bicycle plan: application of the cycle development plan, treatment of cycle discontinuities and other black spots in the network.

Among the proposals emanating from the letter, the request for attractive rates seems to have been heard. However, regarding the creation of cycle paths or the reduction of motorized traffic, nothing has been announced.
In Besançon, an experimental bike bus route leaving containment
In Besançon, the end of confinement had the opportunity to set up an experimental bike bus route for a period of 15 days.
Traced on the boulevard, between the friendship towers and rue de Vesoul, this route should allow cyclists to more easily reach the east and west of the city. The experimental section was isolated by cones, and ground marking. Cycling enthusiasts already call it “la corona piste”. The Besançon bicycle association tested this section of track.
