Digocek ‘Bandar’, 5 Shares Most Changed Hands

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – In trading last week (1-5 November 2021) the exchange recorded a negative performance. The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is still unable to return to the psychological level of 6,600 after the JCI closed for three days in the red zone.

In a week, the JCI fell 0.15% to a level of 6,581.78. Foreign investors are still doing net buying this week but the numbers have decreased again. Market data recorded the net buy of this kick was Rp 607.92 billion in the regular market. While last week it was recorded at Rp 743 billion and two weeks ago it was Rp 4.89 trillion.

The frequency of stock trading on the stock exchange reached 5.99 million times, an increase from the previous week of 6.42 million times with the five most actively traded stocks dominated by issuers with large market capitalization (big cap).

Total stock transactions fell again, down 16 percent to Rp 55.93 trillion from the previous week’s Rp 67.09 trillion. So that the average daily transaction value (RNTH) also fell to Rp 11.18 trillion.

Here are the five most active issuers that changed hands and were transacted by investors over the past week.

1. PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN)

The Sinar Mas Group telecommunication issuer is the most active stock changing hands, after last week being in third place. In a week this stock was traded 120.461 times, with a trading volume of 7.75 billion shares, the transaction value of these shares was recorded at Rp 852.36 billion.

Over the past week, FREN’s shares recorded a slight decline of 0.93% to Rp 107 per share with a market capitalization of Rp 32.66 trillion.

3. Digital Synergy Solutions Tbk (WIFI)

The holding company, which invests in advertising and digital products and services, transacted 113,137 times last week. With a trading volume of 502 million shares, the transaction value of these shares was recorded at IDR 363.18 billion

In a week, WIFI shares rose 3.75% to Rp 690 per share with a market capitalization of Rp 1.41 trillion.

3. Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI)

Completing the top five, there are shares of companies that provide cargo ship rental services which have just been listed on the stock exchange in mid-2018. Exchange data noted that TCPI shares were traded 105,370 times last week. With a trading volume of 99 million shares, the transaction value of these shares was recorded at Rp 852.86 billion.

Within a week, TCPI shares fell 0.23 percent to Rp 8,600 per share with a market capitalization of Rp 43 trillion.

4. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA)

Shares of listed banking companies with the largest market capitalization on the stock exchange belonging to the Djarum Group were traded 94,151 times last week. With a trading volume of 377 million shares, the total transaction value reached Rp. 2.78 trillion, which was the second-largest stock transaction on the stock exchange last week.

In a week, BBCA’s shares fell 0.33% to Rp 7,450 per share with a market capitalization of Rp 930 trillion.

5. PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL)

IDX data noted that the Lippo Group trading issuers changed hands 90,107 times last week. With a trading volume of 1.65 billion shares, the transaction value of these shares was recorded at Rp 654.29 billion.

In a week, MLPL’s shares fell 5.44% to Rp 382 per share with a market capitalization of Rp 5.48 trillion.
