Wetteraukreis (red). Companies in the Wetteraukreis can look forward to an extension of the free digitization assistance. The Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Darmstadt will continue until August 2026. This is what the Wetterau Economic Development Agency has announced.
This decision by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) enables small and medium-sized enterprises to continue to receive free and, above all, practical support in the areas of digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI).
The continuation of the Mittelstand Digital Center offers companies in the Wetterau district the opportunity to prepare more easily for the digital future. In the new project phase, the focus is on the topic of “artificial intelligence”.
The Wetterau Economic Development Agency sees itself in the role of multipliers who pass on these valuable offers to local companies. The aim is to make companies in the Wetterau district aware of the advantages and opportunities associated with digitization and the use of AI and to support them in their successful implementation.
Comprehensive support
The Mittelstand-Digital Center Darmstadt is part of the Mittelstand-Digital network, which offers comprehensive support for digitalization. The services include, among other things: optimization of production processes, i.e. support in the use of AI to increase efficiency. Another topic is “Innovative business models”, i.e. advice on the use of data and new business models for long-term success. The third topic is dedicated to security and sustainability, i.e. support in the areas of IT security and resource-saving technologies.
The funding from the BMWK makes these free offers possible and ensures that companies remain at the cutting edge of technology and can also strengthen their competitiveness on the market.
