Digital Technology and Innovation Award Won by PNM

NATIONAL INFO – PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) received appreciation at the 2023 Digital Technology & Innovation Award event which was held at the Mulia Hotel Jakarta, Wednesday, March 29 2023.

PNM successfully won two awards in the categories of The Best ICT Business Strategy and The Best IT Planning & Project Portfolio for financial services companies. Not only that, PNM’s Director of Operations, Sunar Basuki also received an individual award in the category of The Best Chief Information Technology Officer of The Year.

This award was won because PNM as a finance company incorporated in Holding Ultra Micro continues to transform its business. One of them is by continuously maximizing technology infrastructure and digitalization.

PNM Director of Operations Sunar Basuki said that digitalization was crucial in helping the business run. Especially for companies that have a broad reach and a large number of customers such as PNM.

“There are more than 14 million PNM customers throughout Indonesia, from cities to remote areas to the 3T area. We won’t be able to reach all of them if we still do it manually, digitalization must be strengthened with a comprehensive infrastructure,” he said.

The company, which has distributed financing of up to IDR 12.06 trillion, is carrying out digital transformation to facilitate access to financing for ultra-micro customers through the PNM Digi application. This application provides useful features for customer businesses, including features for recording and accounting for business finances, shopping features at more affordable prices at Warung Mekaar, and payment gateway.

Sunar believes that it is the changes that have been made by PNM that have brought PNM to success in getting awards and appreciation at the 2023 Digitech Award. Especially with the characteristics of ultra-micro customers, namely underprivileged women who still have limitations in understanding and using technology.

“The PNM Digi application was developed as asimple maybe so that it is easy to operate by mothers. Because this is part of PNM’s commitment to help ultra-micro customers be digitally literate and be able to upgrade immediately,” he said.
