An expert jury, consisting of the IAB Board of Directors and the IAB Advisory Board as well as representatives of the Swiss Advertising Client Association (SWA) and Leading Swiss Agencies (LSA), selected the winners of this year’s “Digital Marketing Award”.
Ads & Figures brings victory
This year, Lidl Switzerland was awarded the “Digital Marketer of the Year” award. “The company invests a lot in digital advertising, believes in advertising effectiveness and uses large forms of advertising and branding products to present its brand and products to customers,” said the jury in a statement on Thursday.
The Bern agency Ads & Figures AG won the “Digital Agency of the Year”. As a specialized performance agency, it is very strong in the disciplines of search, social, video and data-driven marketing, judged the jury. And further: “Since it was launched in 2016, the agency has shown that it manages its projects with a lot of digital know-how and is an asset to the Swiss agency world.”
“Digital Entrepreneur of the Year” goes to Sam Lutz
In addition, IAB Switzerland created the award category “Digital Entrepreneur of the Year” for the first time this year and honored Sam Lutz, specialist in data-driven advertising, for the establishment and development of his company Drop8 AG.
Marei Pross (Lindt & Sprüngli AG) receives the “Digital Newcomer of the Year” award and Jörg Eugster receives the “Digital Lifetime Award”. Eugster has made an important contribution to the development of the digital advertising industry in Switzerland for over 20 years. He is the founder of various digital platforms such as wifimaku and passes on his knowledge as a speaker and as an author.
