A talent pool to conquer Asian markets

The 12 winning start-ups of this 2021 edition, which have already received an endowment of € 30,000 for the former and € 20,000 for the latter, during the awards ceremony, are now waiting to take off to southern China in as part of a business trip organized by Huawei, in cooperation with Business France, to materialize development opportunities in the Asian market.

The leaders of Toppie Organics and Alvie will meet, two start-ups committed to reducing chemical inputs, one by the use of human urine and the other by a powerful algorithm that drastically reduces dosages. Experts from Biomède, who propose to extract heavy metals from agricultural soils by sowing phytoextractor plants, will also be there, as well as those from Sanodev, who design non-chemical disinfecting machines for the agricultural sectors, food, industry and the medical world.

The two Lille winners will represent French expertise in air purification. Bioteos designs a filter composed of microalgae to capture atmospheric pollutants while Power of Moss develops connected green walls that improve air quality and reduce the use of air conditioning. Energy reduction will also be at the heart of discussions during the discovery of the Asian technological ecosystem, with in particular the electrical panel of the start-up Oghji, which optimizes the consumption of individuals and businesses, and autonomous public lighting systems. and connected from the Alsatian start-up Green Tech Innovations or even the application of Greenly which allows to reduce its carbon consumption by analyzing its banking expenses. Papkot’s solutions to replace plastic packaging while reducing CO2 emissions will also open the debate on waste reduction, such as high-performance micro-batteries without toxic matter from the Lyonnais of ITEN. Finally, we can bet that the Nice engineers of Wise Integration, who offer miniaturized chargers considerably lighter and more efficient than silicon chargers, should receive a warm welcome in Asia.

All these winning start-ups will soon meet Asian players and potential partners. This experience will allow them to compare their solutions to the local market and to discover international development opportunities.
