What can i know What should I do? What can I hope for? what is the human? Will Immanuel Kant’s last question soon be answered by a machine capable of learning? The digital transformation requires us humans to provide these answers. The fact that art and culture play a leading role in this is set for “digital humanism”. On December 1st, the discussion series of the “Wiener Zeitung” is devoted to questionsdealing with cultural heritage, libraries and archives. In times of increasing digitalization, more than ever, specialists are needed to decide what will remain and what will be entered in the archives and what will not.
