For his part, Kevin Gormand, Managing Director of Mubawab, said that according to a study carried out on a group of 2,000 people, 80% of them said they were interested in organizing meetings and visits in virtual mode , at the time when 27% posted their readiness to make a remote booking.
In the opinion of Mr. Gormand, digital will be able to bring a change to the real estate sector, through the provision of richer and more practical content.
Regarding the challenges inherent in the digitalization of the finalization process of the sale, Driss Benouna, deputy managing director of CIH Bank, highlighted the advantages of the blockchain which remains, he said, one of the solutions which can interface the IT devices of the various parties involved in these processes (banks, notaries, tax authorities, etc.).
Mr. Bennouna pointed out that despite the automation so far of several real estate procedures, the transaction is still not, calling to adapt the legal aspect to technological advances and to generalize the electronic signature to all processes real estate. It is in this same vein that Mohamed Belmaachi, director of the Savings Management Center at CDG, called for a legal strengthening of transactions within the real estate ecosystem, observing that “the stakeholders, each in his corner, are leading their automation. ”
Mr. Belmaachi who also highlighted the efforts made by CDG to digitize its various processes, stressed the need to act together and to ensure that all these automation actions can lead to end-to-end digitalization of the entire value chain.
The importance of joint action was also highlighted by Younes Ouahid, CIO of the National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre and Mapping, who also stopped at the main stages of the digitization project. of the Agency, including the launch of digital services for the benefit of notaries who include, among other things, online payment of the various amounts due.
Mr. Ouahid recommended updating the legal texts according to technological progress and working collaboratively for the benefit of the citizen.
In this sense, Essaid Boujida, a notary, shed light on the various services guaranteed by the Tawtik platform of the National Council of the Order of Notaries of Morocco, calling it a “considerable achievement” for the profession.
Mr. Boujida, however, advocated more interconnection between the various mechanisms put in place by actors in the real estate sales chain, the aim being “to arrive at a common platform”. To this end, he proposed drawing inspiration from initiatives carried out elsewhere.
