Diffusion Hector-Charland is notably responsible for the programming of the Théâtre Hector-Charland in L’Assomption and the Théâtre Alphonse-Desjardins in Repentigny.
The 2024 RIDEAU Awards Gala earned not one, but three recognitions for Diffusion Hector-Charland. In fact, in addition to the Recognition prize awarded to general manager Claude de Grandpré, there are prizes in the Municipal Support and Communication and Marketing categories. These awards awarded to the local broadcaster demonstrate its excellence in broadcasting the performing arts, but also its creativity, its originality and its dedication to the promotion of the performing arts.
Remember that at the opening of the RIDEAU Prize Gala festivities, Mr. de Grandpré learned that he would be the recipient of the Reconnaissance prize which was officially presented to him on February 15. His extraordinary contribution to the development and advancement of the performing arts in the Lanaudière region was recognized by his peers, who did not fail to praise him. Dance company artists Cas publicfrom the circus troupe The 7 fingers of the hand and the flagship rock music group of the 80s The Box have also delivered a beautiful tribute to him, highlighting in particular his 28 years of working with passion.
Promising projects
The project Your new cultural flame developed in the summer of 2023 in collaboration with the cities of L’Assomption and Repentigny, allowed the cultural organization to win the Municipal Support prize. The latter rewards the initiatives of a presenter who, supported by his municipality, contributes to the development of his community by promoting access to the performing arts. The support of the municipality allows the broadcaster to offer diversified and quality programming. In fact, the campaign Your new cultural flame highlighted the diversified summer cultural programming of the two municipalities, highlighting their dynamism and liveliness.
A winning collaboration
Finally, Diffusion Hector-Charland stood out for its innovative communications actions to develop and maintain the privileged link with its audiences. It is more particularly its collaboration with the SPEC du Haut-Richelieu which earned both organizations the Communication and Marketing prize.
SPEC du Haut-Richelieu and Diffusion Hector-Charland now share the same digital ecosystem, which facilitates the optimization of practices, allows comparison tests between the two entities (A/B tests), strengthens their business intelligence towards a more detailed knowledge of purchasing habits and marketing actions. To do this, SPEC du Haut-Richelieu used the same content management system (CMS) as Diffusion Hector-Charland for the redesign of its site by customizing the image, content and application programming interface (API) linked to the Tuxedo ticketing system. This creation of a pair opens the door to the pooling of resources, both strategic and financial.
