1. Working Principle
LCDs use a layer of liquid crystals that are energized to control the light that passes through them. Backlight (backlight) is needed to illuminate the pixels on the LCD screen.
Meanwhile, OLED uses organic materials that can produce their own light when an electric current is applied.
Each OLED pixel emits its own light, so there is no need for a separate backlight.

2. Image Quality
OLED has advantages in color reproduction and better contrast.
Each OLED pixel can be completely turned off, resulting in deeper blacks and higher contrast.
