Santa Catarina, NL.- The Government of Santa Catarina, through the municipal DIF, provided material support to 21 people affected by the tejabanes fire in the Unión Modelo neighborhood.
The accident registered during the morning of Saturday affected seven tejabanes, two of them consumed in their entirety and five more with partial damage due to temperature, for which, by instruction of the president of the Municipal DIF, Paola García Yves, priority was given to bringing mattresses, medicines and pantries to families.
Likewise, the Government of Santa Catarina provided blankets, diapers and packages of school supplies for children of the families affected by the fire, in that sector to the east of the City, where no people were injured.
The fire was put out in its entirety, with the support of firefighters and municipal and State Civil Protection personnel, with no risks left for residents of the area, while the damaged material on the site was also removed.
