“From the Municipal DIF we call on the people of Potosí to open their hearts and in this time of sharing, we can achieve many happy faces on girls and boys through a toy,” said the President of the organization, Estela Arriaga Márquez.
Thus, he invited the population to participate in the “Yes, for a Happy Face” campaign with the donation of non-war toys, that do not use batteries and preferably new ones, in order to make them reach girls and boys in delegational areas and not delegations, “we all know the hope and excitement that arise on these dates and are waiting to receive gifts,” he added.
“Solidarizing with the most vulnerable families is an act of love, we can even share what we have at home or purchase without affecting our pockets,” said the President of the DIF of San Luis Capital.
The deliveries are made after the lighting of the Christmas Tree, the communities are toured, and a small gathering is held with recreational activities where Christmas characters (botargas) participate, by the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection of the Capital.
These donations are received through Volunteering, in the offices located in the Municipal DIF facilities, in Xicoténcatl 1650, Colonia Anthem Nacional, from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The toys can be wrapped or stored in gift bags, all you need to do is put a card on the outside saying if it is for a boy or a girl and from what age.
