Maribel Campos, director of operations of the DIF Gómez Palaciopoints out, although this collection of braids starts on the occasion of the Pink Month, this initiative will be established permanently during the whole year.
All the hair will be taken to the State Defense Department, where the wigs will be made and eventually delivered to the women who need them. The requirements for donating hair are those must measure at least 25 centimeters, gathered like a braid held with rubber bands, must be clean and dry and not discoloredalthough dyed is accepted.
At the time of delivery of the braid it is suggested to do so are stored in a resealable bag for a longer duration of the hair and to avoid mistreatment, although if this is not possible it can also be deliver the DIF without it and it is they who will have the task of protecting them for their care.
