The dietplus food rebalancing network took advantage of its last online meetings with its franchisees to reveal its performance in 2020. While the turnover has increased, against all odds, the rate of closures has further declined.
Results allowing to approach the future with optimism!
Since it is essential to maintain communication within the network and that the gatherings usually organized by dietplus (convention, regional meetings, etc.) are unfortunately currently impossible, the network has opted for the solution of online meetings.
During the “Tele-reunion” that took place February 8 and 9s, Philippe Langohr, president of dietplus, and his team, retraced all the actions carried out throughout 2020.
Regarding turnover, it went from 26.1 million euros in 2019 to 26.5 million euros in 2020, or a new record reached!
In addition to further development (44 new centers opened in 2020, including 11 in Belgium), this performance is the result of the resistance of all franchisees.
In addition, note that the average monthly turnover per center for more than 1 year has fallen by 7.4 %, a very moderate decline, however, especially given the 3 months of confinement during which the activity of the centers, although maintained, will inevitably have been slowed down.
This level of performance remains significantly higher than that of 2017 (2018 and 2019 having been excellent years).
Another figure that brings satisfaction is the rate of closures, which is usually already much lower at dietplus compared to the rates observed in other sectors. This figure fell further in 2020 to stand at 5 %, lower than ever since he was 8% in 2018 and 7% in 2019.
More results proving the solidity of the dietplus model and allowing to look to the future with a lot of optimism.
