Hanover / Bremen – “Werder Bremen will manage to get promoted again immediately,” says someone who is known as “Mister 2nd League”. Dieter Schatzschneider looks optimistically, with 154 goals scored in 201 games for Hannover 96 and Fortuna Köln, the record scorer in this division, towards the Bremen task in the lower house.

The former striker registered another process at HSV, where the project failed for various reasons. After the first efforts, which were unsuccessful under the manager Ralf Becker and the coaches Hannes Wolf and Dieter Hecking, Jonas Boldt, the new sports director, was on the right track. Together with Daniel Thioune, the new coach, he hired two old warriors who stand as prototypes for morality and willpower: Toni Leistner, brought from England, and Klaus Gjasula, the fighter from Paderborn. “A correct approach, which unfortunately failed because both were prone to injury and hardly played.”
