It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Marcus Lamb, president and founder of Daystar Television Network, passed away this morning, the channel tweeted on Tuesday.
Controversial channel
The Lamb family and Daystar have made controversial statements about the coronavirus throughout the pandemic, CBS News reports.
The network has hosted a number of videos and podcasts, which have stated that they are against flu vaccines, HPV vaccines and vaccines in general.
They must also have shown interviews with several vaccine opponents.
The family-owned channel has also claimed that the use of unapproved corona treatments works, including drugs such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, according to CBS News.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and National Institutes of Health have repeatedly warned against using these medicines in conjunction with the coronavirus.
