Radio host Tim Gough died today.
The death is said to have occurred while the 55-year-old was airing his breakfast show for GenX Radio Suffolk in England.
According to Daily mail listeners saw the air go silent in the middle of a song. A few minutes later the music started again, but the program continued without Gough.

A few hours later, the radio station posted on its social media accounts that Gough had sadly passed away.
– It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that our dear friend and breakfast host Tim Gough died this morning while presenting his program, writes the channel on Facebook.

According to the BBC, the tribute was supposed to have come from fans after the death became known.

“I know his family finds great comfort in the hundreds of loving messages that have been received and asked for privacy at this devastating time,” said GenX Radio CEO James Hazell, according to BBC.
Hazell is said to have been a close friend of Gough himself and expresses great personal grief over the death of his colleague.
– Getting to know Tim personally, as I have done very closely for over 30 years, was getting to know a loving, caring and fun guy that my family and I loved dearly. We are devastated by the news, Hazell further said.
