Gabonese goalkeeper who played in Alianza for the 2005-2006 season, Didier Ovono, spoke with the Güiri Güiri airborne panelists from France in the last program of the week.
The conversation with Ovono arose in the context of the departure of Uruguayan goalkeeper Rafa García, however, during the talk, Ovono revealed how he convinced himself to play in El Salvador with Alianza.
Didier recalled that it was the Cameroonian exporter Thomas N´kono, winner of two gold balls in Africa, who convinced him to travel to El Salvador to play in the Alliance. At the moment, the Gabonese is a free agent after finishing a contract with Paris FC of the French second division and hopes to finalize the best offer in the following days.

“N´Kono told me that he had played in Bolivia and had been in a World Cup, because when he played in the 82nd World Cup he was playing in Bolivia, he told me not to think that playing in Central America would not be in the national team, because if I played well everyone would follow me, that they would talk about a good goalkeeper, “he added.
ALLIANCE, THE BEST EXPERIENCE
As detailed by Ovono at the Güiri, Alianza was the best for his first experience, which he liked how the fans behaved with him during his stay in the first division. The Gabonese player continues to propose returning to Alliance.
“For me, Alianza is the first best experience of my career, I arrived young and I wanted to show that I was going to be a great goalkeeper. In El Salvador, when I came to the championship it is not like now, I left the Alliance and I looked at what happened to Alianza, the changes and everything, I am a follower, an Alianza fan and now if I have the opportunity, why not? “
