Even busy with his country Ivory Coast which has just qualified for the final of the African Cup of Nations (CAN), Didier Drogba has time to think about Chelsea. The Blues legend sent a strong message to the current players of the London club.
Even if Chelsea won (3-1) this Wednesday against Aston Villa, in 4th of the FA Cup, the London club is nonetheless out of its sporting crisis. A situation closely followed by a former Blues legend, Didier Drogba. Moreover, the former Stamford Bridge striker left a strong message to the Chelsea players.
The 2012 Champions League winner first asked for “time” for his former club, before saying:
“The players are still learning. They are still young. It’s not an easy time for the club, but they have my support and my confidence. When they hit their peak, everyone will be like, “wow, this is the next generation.”
But time is precisely what some managers do not give to players.
